- 4.0As challenging and rewarding as you make itSoftware Developer • Current EmployeeOttawa, Ontario, CanadaSeptember 20, 2013Pros: Extensive network of experts. Respectable health benefits and overall compensation. Work-life balance.Cons: Extremely large companies, with over 400,000 employees, can sometimes lose focus on business goals and understanding how enterprise changes affect your daily routine.
- 2.0Big and impersonalQA Engineer • Former EmployeeOttawa, Ontario, CanadaMay 25, 2023Pros: Good compensation and benefits for employees.Cons: Impersonal, and an environment where everyone is worried about the next layoff. I sat with one team for a year and barely spoke to anyone; they wanted to communicate digitally even if I was sitting right beside them. Very low morale. Was outsourced twice: once by jobs going to another country, and then by student interns who were working for free.
