A couple of interviews were conducted with technical staff. The problem was that management indicated a move from a hybrid model to a full in-office policy. That wasn't going to fly when I was doing the same job for a competitor fully remote.

Pros: The people you work with are great.
The work is interesting.
Work-life balance is good.
Cons: There is limited opportunity for promotion at IBM. An employee can stay at one level for many, many years. My advice is to move on to another company if, after 3-5 years, your career stagnates, even though your performance and evaluations are high.
