I was interviewed at IBM Kochi for the role of Front End Developer. The interview questions were based on Angular.
The questions were harder compared to my interviews at other companies.
Interviewers expect you to write down the code for interceptors and auth guards. They are not satisfied even if you explain their working in detail.
Their major focus was on HTML and CSS rather than JavaScript or TypeScript, which I found strange. They deliberately kept interrupting while I was answering.
I later came to know that the interviewers give more preference to referral candidates from their colleagues, so that favors are returned for their referrals.
Therefore, it is expected that they try to push you out and select their colleagues' referrals.
The HR department doesn't respond if you are rejected. The interview experience was disappointing.
