The hiring manager contacted me via email and scheduled the interview through IBM's Meet tool.
Present were the manager, the Tech Lead, and a specialist developer. The conversation was quite good; everyone was very polite and kind. They talked about the role and asked some questions about how I work with testing, architecture, Scrum, CI/CD, etc.
Overall, I really liked the interview and was excited. But, when it came to the practical test, I found it very exploratory and irrelevant. I would have to develop a quite complex application that would take days to finish.
We have other obligations, such as current work, family, etc., and doing such a project was discouraging. For this reason, I withdrew from the selection process.
