Process
The interviewer assumed I wasn’t qualified based on the fact that I was an Electrical Engineering major and not a Computer Science major. They then proceeded to ask four language-specific theoretical questions to which they were expecting textbook answers.
I must admit I was unprepared, considering the coordinator specifically told me I would be coding during this interview. After this, they ended a one-hour interview in ten minutes, stating I didn’t have enough front-end experience and that’s all they cared about.
