Pros: I had to travel in my role, so keep that in mind.
Great pay and people who are dedicated to their work.
Company pride, opportunity to progress and learn.
Cons: You must never stop progressing and find your own work. It's a contractor's mentality.
If this works for you and you are willing to network and grab opportunities regardless of location, then it's for you. If not, then be ready to be cast aside.
And when I joined, I was not made aware of this.

Pros: 1. I have always been employee friendly and never thought of switching after joining as a fresh graduate hire from my university.
2. If you want to learn any language or any technology, IBM is the right place you can think of.
3. Policies are clear to every individual.
4. You will get every opportunity to present yourself in larger groups at technical forums, inside and outside of the company.
Cons: 1. The pay structure was always a pain at IBM.
2. That is the only challenge I can think of.
