Process

There were 2 round interviews.

First interview with the team lead and a colleague. It is best that you prepare more on behavioral questions and some basics, like input and output in your programming language of choice.

Questions

Program a guess game. They were interested in the program only. Brush up how to take input in Java or any programming language of choice. They asked about salary compensation. The best reply I would suggest is "company standard," because I actually quoted out of nervousness.

Pros: The people I worked with were smart and professional. I learned a lot and enjoyed my time there. There was a lot of camaraderie and collaboration.

Cons: Their review process seemed okay, but didn't really mean anything. It's all numbers at IBM, and if there isn't a budget for what you are doing, it doesn't matter how well you do. IBM is moving their support services offshore, which will decline their service in that area. Felt like a number in the end. Pay was as low as the market you were in would bear, and raises were few and far between.
