The interview was for one of the leading banking clients.

This was one of the best evaluating interviews, as their questions focused on what I did in my previous role and required explanations.

It was a practical way to understand if a person would fit the role they were looking for.

Good, but not a lot of room for advancement

Software Engineer • Former Employee

Victoria, British Columbia, Canada

Pros: The people I worked with were smart and professional. I learned a lot and enjoyed my time there. There was a lot of camaraderie and collaboration.

Cons: Their review process seemed okay, but didn't really mean anything. It's all numbers at IBM, and if there isn't a budget for what you are doing, it doesn't matter how well you do. IBM is moving their support services offshore, which will decline their service in that area. Felt like a number in the end. Pay was as low as the market you were in would bear, and raises were few and far between.
