They took one online test, which was easy. Then, after a month, they called and scheduled an interview. They told me it would be an hour-long tech discussion anytime between 12 to 2 pm. They then made me invest 5 hours for one round. After that, they called again to schedule another round for 5 pm, which they conducted at 9 pm. They then asked for my documents and if I had any other offers. I provided all of them.
For the next week, they made me submit many other details and a cognitive ability test.
At this point, I thought I was definitely in. Then, I didn't hear from them for a month. I called afterward, and a representative told me I was rejected in the second round due to some negative feedback.
I can assure you that all of the rounds were easy, and I didn't miss answering a single question. Still, I was rejected. I felt bad for wasting my time.
My suggestion to IBM is to please ensure you do not waste candidates' time. I know you are a big firm, but these small things make a big statement about your management.
