Pros: Great environment fresh out of school. Plenty of resources and experience to tap into while learning the ins and outs of corporate design at IBM's level.
Cons: Lots of upper management and a very old-school way of doing things.

Pros: The community of designers is wonderful.
Solving difficult problems through design.
Being part of the whole process of design.
Great place to learn about other design disciplines.
The organization as a whole has come a long way in a few years with regards to incorporating design and design thinking. (Still has a long way to go, but there is progress.)
Cons: Suffers from the typical faults of a large corporation.
As a visual designer, opportunities to be creative are somewhat limited.
Overall happiness is VERY dependent on the team and org.

Pros: The design thinking framework is great.
A lot of events and activities to stay inspired.
Cons: Interns don't know how to work within a team, and the internship program is a mess. There's a lot of mentoring and feedback that sometimes hinders your main goals.
