The process was easy: apply online, then take the test. After that, I received an email. I interviewed on the phone with a couple of people. The interview was not technical or long, lasting maybe 30 minutes.

Pros: Career development: I started working for IBM 4 years ago as a manufacturing test technician. I have been promoted 2 times since then and currently I'm a software developer in test. Growth is seen frequently here at IBM.
Cons: Bureaucracy: IBM is a huge company, and as all big companies, IBM has the problem of all HR requirements being always slow.
