Process
The interview was pretty straightforward and my interviewers were kind. They asked some basic questions like what happens when you type in a URL, and we had a casual conversation about my skills and experiences. Overall, very fair interview for a student position!

Pros: IBM did a great job of providing a highly-functioning intern experience while being 100% remote. There was no difference in the workload, and as an intern, I was still able to learn a lot about the team, job, and role while still being fully virtual.
There were plenty of activities available to do all sorts of different things virtually, to help interns feel connected and socialize with others.
Cons: The most difficult and frustrating thing about the internship was not being able to fully expand my professional network because of it being remote. It is difficult to meet new people and have genuine conversations virtually, but you get used to it.
