Pros: Learning and professional development for any individual who would like to place their career in the field of Information Technology.
Cons: I didn't really face any issues during my internship. Getting adapted to an Agile environment was challenging and interesting, but it was not a con at all.

Pros: A relaxed atmosphere, full of people dedicated to their work. IBM only seems to employ people who are very enthusiastic about their jobs, and management never needs to really step in and get everyone on the same track; they all instinctively do that themselves.
Cons: The large size is intimidating, and often doing your work requires hunting down someone, possibly across the globe, with that one vital piece of information you need to continue your work.

Pros: IBM did a great job of providing a highly-functioning intern experience while being 100% remote. There was no difference in the workload, and as an intern, I was still able to learn a lot about the team, job, and role while still being fully virtual.
There were plenty of activities available to do all sorts of different things virtually, to help interns feel connected and socialize with others.
Cons: The most difficult and frustrating thing about the internship was not being able to fully expand my professional network because of it being remote. It is difficult to meet new people and have genuine conversations virtually, but you get used to it.
