I conducted several phone interviews and proceeded to a panel interview. All seemed positive, with verbal assurance of an offer, as well as written assurance via LinkedIn and email.
However, the offer never materialized. The interview process spanned nearly three months.
I encountered an unreliable recruiting point of contact and received no communication from the hiring manager. I am very frustrated with the whole process.
If you choose not to extend an offer, please inform me directly instead of dragging the process out for several months.
I repeatedly asked whether the offer was contingent on a contract award. I was initially told it was not, but now there is no response.
Therefore, I have essentially given up.
