This was an internship interview, and I was located in Toronto for just one on-site visit. The questions were general and the interviewer was pretty nice and friendly. The technical questions were pretty basic, covering topics such as:

IBM's stimulating work environment needs better management
Software Developer • Former Employee
Toronto, Ontario, Canada
November 5, 2008
Pros: The pay at IBM Canada seems to be about at par with current market salaries.
You also have many opportunities to develop and work with cool and groundbreaking products.
If you enjoy a challenge and want to work in a stimulating environment, IBM is the place to be.
Cons: People tend to be hired into management generally due to their seniority and not necessarily due to their skills. This does not create an ideal meritocracy, which I believe would be the better platform for promotion. This creates managers that are not suited for their position; they may have been great coders but may not necessarily be suited for a management role.
