After initial contact, I was asked to do a phone interview. The interview was a brief process over the phone, taking less than 15 minutes and consisting of technical questions. Nothing too difficult, just job-related questions. I was also asked what "software as a service" is.

Pros: Originally? Training, education, paid certification, bonuses, profit sharing, effective team meetings, and clear communication through the management chains.
Cons: Now? Absolutely none of the above. Everyone is burned out, hiring freezes, no education budgets, no certification budgets, minimal growth profit sharing, no band promotions, cross-team collaboration is dismal, etc.
