I was contacted directly by the recruiter, and scheduling was very smooth. There were a total of three interview rounds. The whole process took about two weeks, which covered coding, algorithms, and behavioral standard questions. It was not hard.

Pros: Originally? Training, education, paid certification, bonuses, profit sharing, effective team meetings, and clear communication through the management chains.
Cons: Now? Absolutely none of the above. Everyone is burned out, hiring freezes, no education budgets, no certification budgets, minimal growth profit sharing, no band promotions, cross-team collaboration is dismal, etc.

Pros: They do a great job of taking care of you.
Mostly a laid-back workplace. Not super stressful. Not usually working long hours. Super flexible about remote work and hours when needed.
Cons: Too big for their own good. The separation of decision makers and doers makes any practical decisions next to impossible. IBM doesn't invent things anymore. They just react and buy other people's work. No one has the guts to be truly innovative because executives only care about the numbers on their yearly report.
