Software Engineer Interview Experience - Hyderābād, India

Process

I was interviewed for an MS-BI, SQL Server position in Hyderabad in April 2016. I was declared selected after two rounds of interviews, and then I was asked to submit all my education and employment-related documents, and ID proofs.

I submitted my mark sheets and certificates from Class 10 to B.Tech, three months' salary slips, my last hike letter, bonus letter, Form 16, scanned copies of my Aadhar Card and Passport, and a passport picture.

They also called me to their office and took my biometric finger impression and a picture of me.

I was told that I would be given an offer within a week, but it has been two months, and they have not sent anything.

When I inquired, I was told they don't have business approval.

Friends, please don't waste your time with IBM. These people are extremely unprofessional. They will ask you to take interviews during their weekday working hours, capture all your sensitive confidential information, even your biometric samples, and finally, you will get nothing.

Please don't be cheated by IBM. They actually form a virtual "bench" with candidates like us. They probably show these interviewed candidates as a resource pipeline to get projects, and if you are extremely lucky, you might get an offer, but there's a 99% chance you won't.

Look for other professional companies, but not IBM.
