I applied for the internship position through the campus career link. About two weeks later, I received an email asking about my availability for an on-site interview.

However, almost a month later, I did not receive any further instructions until I sent an email inquiring about the status. Then, I was given the date and time for the on-site interview.

He did not get back to me after a few weeks following the on-site interview until I sent an email asking about the progress. I did not know at that time that a friend of mine had been offered the position.

Questions were about data structures: binary trees and hash tables, including their collision resolutions. He also asked me to implement a binary search tree in Java on the whiteboard.
