Process

HR called for details after viewing my profile on Naukri.

The same HR called after 10 days post-profile shortlisting to schedule an interview.

Two technical rounds and a managerial round, including a salary discussion, were scheduled within a span of 10 days.

I received the offer letter a week after completing the interview process.

The same HR remained in contact throughout the whole process.

Questions

Detailed questions about the current project were asked in both rounds.

Self-reading in C and Linux was also tested.

Topics covered included:

  • Linux concepts such as IPC, virtual memory management, threads, semaphores and mutexes, demand paging, fork, and thread creation in detail.
  • C questions like deleting a node in a linked list, reversing a node in a linked list, memory leaks, storage classes, precompilation, and structure padding and packing.

Additionally, candidates were given programs to write and to find the output of given programs.
