Their products don't work well, and there are layers and layers and layers of management and policies. Morale is low, and people are fearing for their jobs. Lastly, IBM hands out jobs to relatives or friends of former executives. There are young people in management roles that have no business there. This company has not yet turned around. They consolidate divisions and say the new unit is profitable. Silly finance tricks like that.
