Interviewers were constantly looking at their laptops, indicating they were not interested. This is understandable if one is not the right candidate.
It did not appear as though the interviewers knew what they were doing.

Pros: IBM is a huge company and has many types of positions in the field of software engineering. It's not too hard to find a team/position to which your skills or your goals align.
There are lots of smart people there, so you can learn a lot from others.
The IBM name looks good on your resume for when you want to apply to other companies after working here.
Cons: - Pay is average in the industry, and not very negotiable.
- It's hard to move up in the company due to too much bureaucracy and politics amongst team members.
- Some colleagues I've met are real jerks, and IBM doesn't do much to ensure that workers treat each other well.

Pros: Great overall learning experience as an intern. Pay was competitive, with friendly coworkers and management.
Cons: Not many options for buying lunch unless you want to go off-site or bring your own.
Sometimes it can seem as if you don't have time for anything but work, depending on the team you're on.
