Then, I was told what the conditions would be if they hired me, specifically regarding a laptop and hours. Eventually, I took an online number pattern test that was quite tough, but I never saw the results.

Pros: Good benefits, competitive pay, flexibility in hours (depending on manager), and the ability to work from home.
The company has an international presence, so you'll get to work with people literally all over the world.
Depending on the position, you'll have opportunities for travel.
Cons: There is a lot of talk about work-life balance, but that's not really the culture. While there is often some recognition for hard work/insane hours, it rarely pays off financially. Also, raises and bonuses have dried up, despite the company's good performance. In most departments, many positions are backfilled to places like China and India. This makes people nervous. Most of the products are not exactly that interesting to work on, but there are some cool things happening.
