Pros: Some teams work on the latest technology stack; you just need to find the right team.
As an outsider, you might think that IBM works with legacy pieces of software and tools, but that is not true. If you find the right team, you can enjoy working on cool projects that involve some of the most modern tools: Kubernetes, Docker, Node.js, React, etc.
Cons: Sometimes it is hard to find billable projects.
