Pros: Great industry experience, as well as giving back and learning opportunities.

Cons: Large company, so it can be difficult to shine out from the crowd.

Pros: IBM is very flexible with work/life balance and provides abundant education and career-growth opportunities. IBM's total compensation is very competitive and always improving. IBM's technology portfolio is best of breed and strives to satisfy client needs. IBM's work environment is very inclusive.

Cons: IBM's virtual education portfolio should also include more traditional classroom and lab formats, enforcing hands-on, bootcamp-style learning. IBM's management mandates too much data entry with project tracking, which drives employee measurement metrics with no indication of the outcomes. IBM has become too political and has adopted a woke culture that seeks to raise awareness of specific groups while making others feel guilty when they are innocent. IBM tends to lead from behind and focuses too much on the finances versus the technologies, and listens more to Wall Street than Main Street. IBM fosters an environment that creates internal competition by over-communicating the successes and gains of employees who reach career milestones that they want to enforce, like certifications.

Pros: * Vast resources for re-skilling & up-skilling * Good work culture

Cons: Could use improvements with finding projects for people on the bench.
