The process was through an agency, which organized a telephone interview. The interview lasted 15-20 minutes and was not difficult at all. After that, I received the job offer. It helped that I was known to IBM and the agency, so I believe they had already made up their minds before the interview.

Pros: Work from home, employer pension contribution of 6% of salary, partial health insurance subsidy, and the opportunity to file patents.
The process and management has had over 100 years to be refined, so everything is by the book, and they have a book for every situation.
Cons: Low salaries, long commute, salary reviewed annually (max), annual performance evaluation requires someone to be assigned a score of zero (even in small departments), no overtime compensation, large layoffs, no bonus.
