It's a very large company, and there are a ton of positions to choose from within the company. Positions can be related to almost anything.
The company tries to have a sense of culture within the company.
Managers are very hands-off.
Pay bands restrict you from getting paid what you're worth.
It's very difficult to move from one pay band to the next.
Make it easier for employees to move pay bands if you want to reduce turnover.
