Pros

I had the opportunity to travel for work when the executives saw that I was way above average. In fact, I lived at the Pullman hotel for almost half a year receiving per diem. For me, being childless and young, it was great.

Cons

If you are significantly above average and prove yourself reliable, they will trust you, but financial recognition is very tight. This means that the executive line can be billing the client something like 6x your gross income, when the "optimal" expected from DPE is 3x (basically, you are worth two people in this case). In other words, executives can bill you for your top work, but you cannot receive it even if your multiple (billing divided by your cost) is already much higher than what is already considered optimal.

Advice to Management
