Pros

A vision and strategy for the near future which is not fixed.

A culture that is inclusive and wants to direct IT to be supportive to society and help business with the challenges of the 21st century.

Embrace new technology and open the legacy applications to support an interactive, flexible solution.

Cons

The strategy is sound, but the timeline is overly aggressive and leads to high pressure on people.

Skills are declining as location (cost) is more important than quality of hiring.

Advice to Management

The key missing factor is a failed HR strategy. You're making profit by cutting costs and seeing employees as costs. In words, you say employees are the most important. In practice, that means a bigger workload, higher pressure, and less pay.

Salaries are not keeping up with the market for band 6-10. As a result, you lose talent, as good people leave and new talent isn't joining.

Hire skills where you have the teams, not where it is low cost. Communication is key and a big obstacle now.
