Truly terrible experience that won't end
It is a job. It is in the tech industry. It has benefits.
So, so many. The manager is inept and out of touch. They tell you, "Don't worry. We are going to train you." However, the training is just Udemy videos; nothing hands-on.
Most of the projects are internal, where your fellow IBMers treat you like garbage and ignore you instead of giving you any help.
So, so many politics at every level.
For me, six months after I left the company, IBM put me into collections for $500. No one can explain to me why IBM thinks I owe them this money.
The turnover here is very, very high. That's why they are always recruiting.
