4.0
Pros
  1. Shifting technologies internally.
  2. Employee friendly.
  3. Hard work is recognized if under the right manager and upline manager.
  4. If someone doesn't want to be challenged much at work or needs no work pressure, this is a great company.
  5. Women employee friendly.
  6. Health camps and health insurance are good.
Cons
  • No free lunch, beverages, or snacks.
  • No free cab or even shuttle from tech parks MTP and EGL. Cabs will be provided only from 7 PM to 7 AM.
  • You will never be promoted for your BAU work unless you do something extraordinary.
  • Annual hikes are always in single digits. It took me 4 years to get a 100% salary hike after all promotions and hard work.
  • Too much Agile, Agile everywhere. Most of the time is spent on making PPTs, charts, and meetings on Agile.
  • Nothing you get for free until begged.
  • Rules are changed according to senior managers.
  • No WFH or flexible leaves.
  • More than our productivity, login and logout timings are monitored.
  • Too many meetings. Unnecessary stand-ups, even though there will be nothing to update. Retrospectives happen where 80% of action items are still pending until the next retro.
Advice to Management
  • Employ technical managers for development/tech teams, not someone with just operational experience.
  • Keep fewer team leads or managers in teams.
  • And stop micromanaging.
