Pros
  • A lot of learning opportunities like certifications and IBM tools.
  • A lot of room to learn about different industries if you're brave enough to go find those projects yourself and not get sucked into an internal project.
  • Your fellow peers (people who started at the same time as you) are great people, with good talent who are excited to learn, so you get to have a really good atmosphere and culture in that aspect in the beginning.
  • Overall good company culture outside of the CIC.
  • IBM has good people working with them in general.
  • Diversity and inclusion.
Cons
  • No room for growth.
  • Pay is HORRIBLE and not worth the amount of work you put in.
  • Leadership only cares to meet metrics and does not maintain a good relationship with their 'reportees'.
  • A lot of empty promises were told during the interview process.
  • I was never treated as an individual. It was very bureaucratic.
Advice to Management

Pay the employees in order to retain good talent.

Treat employees with respect and humility.
