Pros

It is a stable company, with good benefits, that gives you all the support for career start and learning.

Good opportunity to practice and improve your English, as a good part of the clients and projects are international.

People, for the most part, are ethical and professional, and the environment is healthy to work and maintain a work-life balance, depending on the project you are on.

It has a home office culture that has been in place since before the pandemic, for a good part of the projects, except in cases where the client requires it to be in person.

Cons

If you join and end up on a project you don't like, it's hard to change.

You encounter a lot of resistance to switching projects if you haven't been there long. Over time, they become more flexible, but you need "permission" even to interview for another project.

The best opportunities end up going to the youngest and newest people in the company.

The company is extremely bureaucratic, full of mandatory training that would often apply more to sales than to technical areas. Nevertheless, everyone is required to do them and is held accountable for it.

Due to the company's size and number of processes, it can sometimes be quite complicated to make a request or resolve something, but the company has been improving in this regard over the years.

Despite the good benefits, the salary doesn't always keep up with the market, and from a certain level, they start requiring you to obtain certain internal company certifications that are useless outside of it.

They don't always reward people fairly. There are more experienced people with lower salaries than people who joined more recently, on newer contracts.

The newer the contract, the greater the salary progression.

Many projects with legacy technology, old systems that add nothing to your career, with resistance to cultural change and technological evolution.

Advice to Management

Serem mais empáticos com os funcionários, ajudar de verdade na evolução da carreira, direcionando os funcionários para as áreas que eles gostam mais e querem evoluir.
