It was just a phone interview with the manager and some other engineers, and it was pretty casual. They asked me about my research experience and made sure I had used the equipment I would be using with them.
The interview process was fine, but it was drawn out because many of the Human Resources functions are now run from Costa Rica, and approval from corporate US headquarters in Armonk is required.
The interview was comfortable. There was no pressure, or at least that's how I felt. I got to know what I will be working on and met the manager. I also learned about the benefits.
