For the management, really, there are no pros.
Really unmanaged management.
Please, don't join IBM if you are ambitious and come from varied skills. Even if you are confident that you can be good, the movement and managerial restrictions will exhaust all your efforts. So, please rethink before joining.
As you may have heard, IBM takes 3-5 years for giving any salary raise, and that too depends on your performance. There's no special bonus. Don't get lured by their business ventures and other things as long as you are working on an individual level.
Please, for the sake of humanity, better yourself. Enough careers have been dusted down because of you, management. Unnecessary restrictions have made many employees lose their passion in their jobs. Even the market reviews say the same, if not just my review.
