Pros

Good performers are taken care of with competitive compensation.

Large company, so finding a good fit is possible, with reasonable mobility across departments.

Plenty of training to stay educated on the latest tech.

Long-time IBM managers take care of their people. This means making sure both IBM and their employees are getting their needs met.

Cons

Return to office has caused some turmoil, as it has been hard to get to pre-pandemic work from home exceptions to interest high performers.

It is a big company and you will run into some bad managers; try to ride it out and look for your next opportunity internally.
