Pros

Work culture, growth, and work timings depend on the business unit you are working in.

Cons

Managers put more pressure on individual contributors to complete tasks. Opportunities for shifting from an individual contributor to a management career path are very few and rare. The company does not cover parents' medical insurance. The company does not create more opportunities for people from within the company than by hiring from outside, so employees need to move on.

Advice to Management

If the company doesn't provide opportunities, then how can we expect from others? IBM is known for work-life balance; now the culture is slowly fading.
