Lots of learning resources, decent benefits, and a good work/life balance.
Terrible corporate politics and policies. The official company policy is to replace all its "non-essential" NA staff with people from developing countries. The performance rating system is seriously flawed and pits employees against one another instead of encouraging collaboration. The starting salary was reasonable, but increases are less than inflation, and the company no longer pays for overtime in Canada.
Stop laying off your senior staff. Your employees are your most important assets and should be treated as such. Practice what you preach in terms of culture and values with respect to your employees.
