Good emphasis on a systematic approach to software development, mostly based on Agile Methodologies. They also encourage you to establish patents and technical articles.
You may be able to work with a lot of teams around the globe, and you have some opportunity to rotate to overseas offices.
I met many low-key experts, and I also met quite a few egoistic know-it-alls. You really need to focus on concrete learning by yourself and make sure your skill set has a strong foundation. You need to search and discover who those real experts are, the ones who are willing to spend time helping you grow your own expertise.
