Only brand name, very less salary.

a) Good salary in offer letter, while take-home is very less, as it goes into variable, which is hardly paid.

For example, my CTC is 9 Lacs per Annum (Indian Rupees). My take-home is 53K (after all tax declarations done).

b) Minimum 90 days notice period is mandatory. The notice period can be extended after 90 days without taking any of your concerns (mail pasted below).

Nowadays, it is very general that they extend the notice period beyond 90 days so that you might lose a good offer.

c) Generally, Architects in Java are those people who were Project Managers in a previous company, so you can understand how tech-expert they would be.

d) If you are in Java, then the projects are very crappy. Your life will become hell.

e) Band 7A people also need to do coding work.

f) Need to work on IBM tools only. Most of them are Java-based (which consumes lots of RAM) like Lotus Notes, Sametime, etc., so systems are very slow.

g) Only a 1GB laptop they used to provide, which is extendable until 2GB.

h) As posted on other reviews, getting promotions is very tough.

i) Management does not follow ethics at all.

j) Generally assign Band 6B, where your peers would be freshers or 1-year experienced.
