I don't think I had any pros. All were just cons. I'm glad I left IBM ASAP.
I joined as a fresher and worked there for three long years. All I felt was deep depression. I worked on three projects, and all three were very, very bad. There was too much regionalism and peanuts for raises. There was too much politics and favoritism for people of their region. A manager also called me at midnight and expected me to attend meetings, even though I was not on a shift project. This is how they treated women employees who promoted the "pink factor" so much! I said no to taking calls as and when needed. All they did was threaten me with firing if I didn't accept. Is this what a company does? And work from home was a nightmare. I still remember they called me on my honeymoon and said, "Since we have given you work from home, you should take calls even if you are on your honeymoon." Is this humanity? Another day I said I wouldn't attend calls after 8 PM, for which my manager insisted I should and made me stay after 8 PM in the office. So, is this correct? Is this a place to work?
Please read above what has happened as long as I was in IBM.
Don't simply promote that IBM is good for women employees by giving work from home and treating them like slaves.
Instead, try to have some humanity.
I can give all details of the projects I worked on and the project manager if needed.
I can provide details of calls I used to take and employees who have left IBM due to the same reason.
Every word here is what I suffered while being in IBM.
I attended the college placement process. It took two days. First day: Aptitude online assessment, which also included a psychometric test. Second day: Technical and HR interviews. I received the results two days after the interviews.
The interview process was moderate, with a total of two rounds. These included technical and HR discussions. The number of rounds may change based on your role. I attended both the technical and HR discussions, after which they released an offer for
A detailed-oriented interview with several rounds. The technical rounds involved coming up with several test cases around things around me, like a pen, and about testing an email server. The other two technical rounds involved briefing me about the
