Friendly, helpful staff.
Very accommodating culture. For example, transgender and disabled people are welcomed and accommodated as far as I could see.
Despite the technology weaknesses, it is still a "big tech" company and does make use of modern technologies and practices, open source, large-scale projects, etc., although it rarely pioneers them itself.
Room to progress. If you want a reasonably stable career with a solid foundation, it offers that.
Bad salary compared to other big tech.
Aging, technical debt-heavy technology.
Seeming lack of investment, vision, or drive to properly take on the large problems their technology purports to address.
"It's a career" rather than "rapid progress" feel.
Corporate in many ways.
Always trying to "adopt" and catch up. Rarely hear of new breakthroughs coming from inside like other big tech (there are a few exceptions).
The current culture is very entrenched, which will make any change difficult.
Many products could use starting from scratch. The company has a lot of very lucrative long-term relationships, which unfortunately causes a lot of problems.
It is scared of jeopardizing and cannibalizing current products with innovative ones. The company also does not know how to target small businesses.
Unfortunately, even if you refuse to risk losing customer revenue by launching better offerings, you can't protect them from competitors.
The quarter-by-quarter no-risk, no-vision attitude (which has its place) just can't survive forever in tech, which is why we are seeing revenue constantly being nibbled away as the cash cows are gradually getting wiser.
Despite some weak engineers, there are a lot of good technical staff. If you hired in some superstar leaders with true demonstrated vision, proper freedom and incentives to build major products, and some great modern engineers to build cores for new teams, I am sure current staff would get behind them gladly.
The interview process is quite brief and clear, consisting of three stages: * **Phone Interview:** Conducted by HR/Talent Acquisition. * **First Stage Interview:** A face-to-face interview with the Team Lead or Tech Lead. * **Second Stage Inte

The assessment includes an online test featuring LeetCode-style coding problems to evaluate technical skills, along with soft skills and behavioral questions designed to assess communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities under pressure.
