No pros. Sorry!!!
Bad first-line managers. Mostly useless upper/higher-level top management. Not good health insurance. Salary not good. Workplace sucks! (Imagine working in a 40-year-old office :-( ). Not many options for food (at IBM SVL, San Jose, CA). Managers don't know what engineers do. Complete disconnect between HR and employees; don't know if they have an HR department.
Definitely need to improve and take better decisions to improve the business. Don't mindlessly fire productive employees.
I applied online and completed the automated OA. A few months later, I received a callback from a recruiter. I spoke to a hiring manager, which was a technical discussion with high-level questions on shell scripting, Docker, and Kubernetes. One week
Smooth interview process, terrible recruiters though. Recruiters ghosted me for a month post the final interview. Did not even receive any feedback, despite the hiring manager giving a verbal offer in the final round. Extremely frustrating process
Phone interview with hiring manager. Phone interview with a principal engineer. Site interview, including a presentation with the hiring team. Five sessions of 1:1 interviews, covering both technical and behavioral questions. Wait for three weeks
