Pros

Work hours are flexible as long as you can get your work done. The management understands life and work balance.

There are opportunities for advancement, and that needs you to initiate the process with upper management. You're encouraged to take on-site courses whenever they're available.

If you're lucky, you might get your own office, but sometimes you might need to share an office with another colleague. There are no cubicles at the SVL location.

Cons

IBM might not work for young professionals because there isn't a real energetic culture there and no free food.

I thought there would be financial aid with tuition help for training courses at an educational institution, but I found the process difficult because it needed approval from a few levels of management.

Sometimes you're expected to work long hours to get your work done.

Advice to Management

Work closer with the members of the team and understand their needs better.
