Pros: There are some really forward-looking people leading. The company is finally breaking away from the limited interaction with tools and other interfaces used in the industry (Git, Spark, Hadoop, Chef, etc.) and even some programming languages.
Cons: There's a lot of dead weight in the company now.
Areas that are not infused with drive to move forward or even participate with the new movement are dragging down morale and productivity.
It's very easy for some folks to slack off at the expense of other hard-working employees.
