Disheartening. It almost made me not want to be a software engineer
If you have friends in high places that can always give high ratings, and nepotism doesn't bother you, I guess those are pros.
- Does not recognize excellent work at the individual contributor level unless you have friends in high places.
- Exploits employees.
- Only worried about quarterly financial results for Wall Street.
- Pro off-shoring jobs.
Treat your employees with respect.
