Pros

The office building in Markham is one of the nicest campuses to work in. The cubicle or personal work area is large with nice modern furniture, and has a sliding door that can be used to gain privacy and to concentrate on work. There are also plenty of meeting facilities and interview rooms where you can have conference calls without disturbing others. Large leisure areas such as the English library, the Asian Zen room, and the Muskoka-themed cottage are all very nice facilities.

There is also an onsite gym with:

  • 4 treadmills
  • 2 step machines
  • 2 elliptical machines

Since it's in the suburbs, it means a short commute every day to go to work. There's no need to go downtown and get stuck in traffic.

Cons

High work pressure and little resources to do what needs to get done. At the same time, there are people who seem to just cruise along and contribute little.

Advice to Management

Give the people who are committed to their career advancement more opportunities to go into new positions to grow new skills, instead of keeping them where they are at all the time.
