The best reasons to work for IBM Systems and Technology are:
- The ability to work with advanced hardware and software.
- Periodic travel to other sites for collaboration.
- Interacting with and learning from very knowledgeable and skilled people.
- Resources available for development and testing of new products.
Some of the downsides of working at IBM Systems and Technology include:
- Being laid off at any time regardless of contribution or superior rankings.
- Cancellation of Take A Breaks.
- Inept decision-making by all levels of management.
- Not being more concerned with the rank and file.
Listen to the people at the very bottom. They are the ones doing all the work and assuming all the risk. They are also the ones with the most information.
