Stable finance means employees can get relatively secure jobs in the current economic environment.
It has many business units, so employees have opportunities to transfer between different business units or job roles.
Cost saving is the top priority of the company. No computer mouse is provided. Stationery application is restricted. There are too many restrictions to claim medical insurance. There is almost no instructor-led training for R&D. The housing fund is paid at the lowest rate in some cities.
There are some mean managers. Some SH managers commanded R&D employees in another city to work in SH by traveling between cities daily without paying any per diem. Training classes are restricted, taxis are not allowed, and employees cannot leave before 17:00, etc. The single trip between cities is about 3 hours. One employee tried to negotiate with the manager, then got fired.
The internal service is poor. Some employees' expense claims finally got paid after almost 3 months. It takes weeks to communicate with HR.
It is a selfish, irresponsible company. Employees must sign an unfair "WAIVER AND GENERAL RELEASE" document before participating in any IBM club activities. In that document, all responsibilities of IBM and its partners are waived. Employees have to pay for any loss to IBM and its partners but have no right to get compensation from IBM and its partners, even if they cause employees damage.
Pay a little care to your employees.
