Process

Made it to the one-way interview after completing the technical assessment (2 coding questions, 90 minutes total: one simple BFS question and one modified stack question).

One-way interviews only give you 15 seconds to prepare and 45-60 seconds to answer. The first half is behavioral and the other half was technical. They were mainly looking at your communication skills for the entirety of the interview and technical knowledge for the second half of the interview.

Questions

Is the total number of distinct unsigned 32-bit integers different from the total number of signed 32-bit integers?

Can every recursive implementation of an algorithm be converted to an iterative implementation?

Can an O(1) algorithm get faster?

Is a task on 2 threads always faster than a task running on one thread?

How would you explain the difference between a stack and queue to a non-technical person? (More than one minute was given to prepare and 2 minutes to answer for this one)
